Cultural Vistas New Office Open House Celebration

Founder, Ben Conard, will be sampling chocolate and talking about his experience with Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange and how the fellowship shaped his entrepreneurial spirit.

Join us on May 17 at a special open house event as we showcase and celebrate our nonprofit's new headquarters on the 21st floor of the historic Woolworth Building.

After more than four decades in midtown, Cultural Vistas will usher in a new era in its work to advance global skills when it moves into its new home in downtown Manhattan. Our expanded presence in New York City will provide ample opportunities for us to engage our alumni, partners, and supporters like YOU in new and exciting ways, beginning this spring. Join us to celebrate and learn how you can get involved and support our work to advance global skills. Plus, you can't get a better view of downtown Manhattan than this!

Get tickets here and check out the Facebook event here!

Hope to see you there!

7th Annual Chili Cook-Off and Fall Festival

  • Association for Mental Health and Wellness (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Our annual Chili Cook-Off is a day where Long Islanders can enjoy the most diverse, delicious, and creative meat and vegan chili dishes from local food establishments, area businesses, and local talent. Prizes will be given in several categories including a “People’s Choice” award.

And it's more than just a day to enjoy chili. It's a fun-filled afternoon with one-of-a-kind vendors, food, beverages, and children’s games. Then, at 3:30pm, we start our much-anticipated annual Halloween costume contest for kids under 10 years of age.

All proceeds benefit people impacted by mental illness and at-risk and homeless Veterans, including those with PTSD and depression.
